Among the highlights are a clinic with Tiger at Las Vegas' Cascata, a poker tournament with Phil Helmuth and Doyle Brunson, golf, and a concert headlined by Bon Jovi. Las Vegas, Nevada (April 2, 2012)--Michael Jordan and his friends once again partied and played golf in Las Vegas this past week with the second playing of the Michael Jordan Celebrity Invitatonal in the Las Vegas Golf Region. At the end of the day, a lot of money was raised for charity, and John Smoltz and Brandi Chastain walked away as the winning team in the celebrity competition. Las Vegas, Nevada (April 1, 2012)--Michael Jordan has some work to do if he wants to successfully defend his title in his own event. Golf stud and former Major Leaguer John Smoltz, along with playing partner and U.S. Olympic soccer hero Brandi Chastain have the lead after one round at 6-under par. Today marked the first round of the celebrity/amateur portion of this charity tournament hosted by ARIA and Shadow Creek. And the crown jewel concert of the event's festivities is a concert billed as Jon Bon Jovi and Friends. Las Vegas, Nevada (January 25, 2012)--The TPC Las Vegas is a Las Vegas resort course that is owned and operated by the PGA Tour. It is known as the home of pro golf in Las Vegas because it is a former host of events on the PGA Tour and Champions Tour. In addition, many Tour pros who live in the Las Vegas practice at the course on a daily basis.
