Las Vegas, Nevada (May 3, 2012)--For several years, Las Vegas' Rio Secco Golf Club has hosted the Western Athletic Conference Golf Championships. Las Vegas, Nevada (April 28, 2012)-Maybe it isn't breaking news, but Tiger Woods confirmed that Jack Nicklaus is the greatest when asked about it during his annual private golf clinic at Tiger Jam. The VIP event was held at Las Vegas' Cascata, and Tiger drew a big laugh when asked who is the greatest golfer ever: "Nicklaus," he replied. Asked to clarify where he personnally rated, Tiger quickly said, "I am four majors back." --By Brian Hurlburt

Las Vegas, Nevada (April 7, 2012)--With The Masters being played this week, it gets us looking ahead to October and the playing of Las Vegas' PGA Tour event, the Justin Timberlake Shriners Hospitals for Children Open. In a little more five months, some of the same names dotting the Masters leaderboard will be in Las Vegas challenging to become the champion of the 30th year of the tournament. Each course was designed by  the legend, Pete Dye, and with 54 holes in play, there are always Las Vegas golf deals and events happening. Las Vegas, Nevada (March 20, 2012)--Butch Harmon has been voted America's Top Golf Teacher for 12 years running in a poll of his peers published in Golf Digest. High praise, for sure, but a quick scan of the FedEx Cup standings also proves his ability because several of the PGA Tour pros he works with are always near the top. And one the best things about Harmon is that he is accessible via his Butch Harmon School of Golf located at Las Vegas resort course Rio Secco. Las Vegas, Nevada (March 1, 2012)--The annual UNLV Men's home golf event has included such a deep field of teams over the years that it was unofficially dubbed the "Masters of College Golf" several years ago by national media members.
