The Jack Nicklaus Academy philosophy: The Jack Nicklaus Academy of Golf brings together the finest in golf instruction; technology integration; physical and mental evaluation, conditioning and training, all combined with the playing philosophy of the greatest player of all time - Jack Nicklaus. Students will leave the Academy with a better understanding how to play better golf, what areas to continue to work at, and how to take their new game to the course. And, students of the Nicklaus Academy will have new knowledge that will help them improve their physical capabilities and mental focus as it relates to golf and carries over into life.
The Coaching Studio of the Academy is also complete with a 1200 point Pressure Mat System visually display where the student’s balance and center of mass is located before, during and after the swing. The Pressure Mat image is synchronized with the video capture so it can be analyzed in detail. Color mapping, weight percentages and stance width are displayed in color. Also onsite is the automated studio lighting system. In order to capture video at such high speeds, additional lighting is required during the capture. Also available is the specialized TOMI putting lab--slow motion video and other technology breaks down the stroke, putting and chipping areas, mental and physical evaluation and training programs, and much more.
